G. D. H. Cole (1889-1959) was an Oxford University professor who was deeply inspired by William Morris. Cole best expressed his love for Morris's socialism in a series of three lectures titled The Life of William Morris.
Rare book collector and William Morris Society-US president Jack Walsdorf has a copy of these lectures in his collection. This website brings new life to them in the form of video shorts.
The first presents Cole's summary of Morris's theory of art, the second an overview of Morris's socialist activity, and the third an assessment of Morris's Kelmscott Press.
